Aboriginal Library

Literacy Haida Gwaii is the lead and project partner of the Government House’s Write to Read project. The aboriginal library for Old Massett was officially opened in October 2013 by B.C. Lieutenant Governor Judith Guichon.
Literacy Haida Gwaii, together with the Rotary Clubs of District 5040, donated thousands of books to the library. The library building was donated by Britco Building Innovation, with computers donated by London Drugs. This library is gifted to Old Massett Village Council.
